Volunteer Roles

Youth Educator: This one is vital - you’ll be implementing our DES curriculum and assisting students with skill development. Together with the DES Program Director, you’ll ensure students comprehend learning materials and achieve curriculum objectives, while promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
Success Coach: You’ll serve as a role model, advisor, advocate, and ally to DES youth. Success Coaches challenge and encourage students to own their learning journey, add to their arsenal of skills and achieve their best — personally and creatively. Provide active guidance to help students successfully progress through the program and identify their pathway.
Special Event Coordinator: You’ll help plan, organize and implement successful DES events by working on event committees, assisting on the event day and/or participating in the event.
